Congratulations Quality Award Applicants!

Angie SzumlinskiAnnouncements

HealthCap would like to congratulate the 2018 Bronze, Silver and Gold AHCA/NCAL Quality Award applicants.  The quality journey is an ongoing process of evaluation and a commitment to achieving success.  Communities who have enjoyed success “live” the Baldrige criteria on a daily basis, everything done within the community is evaluated against this criteria and when necessary, systems are “re-created”.  This may seem like a daunting task but as the old adage says “if it was easy everyone would have it”.  Submitting an application for the Quality Awards is the first step on this journey. It is an exhaustive, interdisciplinary process and we appreciate the efforts!

If you are not familiar with the Quality Award program please consider learning more about how it can assist your team in improving quality within your community.  There are many resources available to assist you as you embark on the quality journey including websites, YouTube educational videos, AHCA/NCAL/state affiliate associations and independent consultants.

Remember, quality cannot be achieved without commitment and a focused, sustained effort by your entire team!  The residents entrusted to your care, families, the community and your stakeholders look to you for affirmation.  Take credit for the great work you do and begin the journey, 2019 could be your year!  Thanks for all you do and as always, should you need assistance please contact your HealthCap Risk Manager.

As we begin the process of reviewing and evaluating the 2018 applications the HealthCap Risk Management team wanted to wish luck to each of you and congratulations for beginning the journey! Hope to see you on the stage at the AHCA/NCAL annual convention this fall!
