National Safety Council

The National Safety Council offers resources for you and your team of caregivers as we evolve from pandemic to the “new normal”. These resources include training regarding substance abuse, how to ask for help at work, a prevention checklist for employees, webinars on managing mental health, etc. Their website explains that “the COVID-19 pandemic will affect the mental health and wellbeing of employees well beyond the immediacy of the initial crisis. This space is dedicated to addressing topics like mental health, stress reduction, substance misuse, and more”.

We should never be too proud or feel that asking for help is a sign of weakness. The world is in recovery mode and there isn’t a day that goes by where someone near and dear to you may be in need. Access this great resource, see if there is something you can share, or you can personally use. Remember, it takes a village, recovering from the pandemic isn’t just removing your mask, it is much deeper than that. Stay well and stay tuned!
