Although Resident Rights are not “new” in post-acute care, it is always good to remind our team about the importance of respecting each and every resident’s right to live with dignity. We often get caught up in the day-to-day of providing care and “forget” to be nice, forget to say please and thank you and most importantly, forget to recognize each of our residents as distinct, unique individuals. The website below is a great refresher for all of us and I recommend that you share it in your communities and never let us forget how important our role is in the lives of our residents. Thanks again for all you do and have a great week!
