Session Description:

Last month, OSHA issued an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) to address exposure of COVID-19 to workers in healthcare settings. This healthcare ETS applies to all OHCA member providers: SNFs, assisted living communities, ICFs/IID, home care agencies, and hospice providers. OSHA enforcement of most ETS provisions began July 6, 2021. Join OSHA Compliance Assistance Specialist Todd Jensen as he provides an overview of the standard. He will discuss key areas of focus for both institutional and community-based providers, as well as inspection procedures soon to be underway.

We also will take your questions on the ETS and OSHA inspections. If you would like to send in questions in advance, please email Diane Dietz.

Speaker:
