PRESCOTT, Wis. — High school seniors across the United States have had to sacrifice their senior experiences. Canceled graduation ceremonies graduation parties, proms, and more have all cast a dark cloud over the class of 2020. Two seniors from Prescott, Wisconsin, however, refused to let Covid-19 steal their joy on Prom Day! Allie Jennings and Rachel Leonard spent the morning their day off doing their hair and makeup for prom, putting on their dresses, and heading to the nursing home where they are both certified nursing assistants. The 18-year-olds danced with the seniors that they care for every day, visiting each room and leaving each resident smiling. Thank you, Allie and Rachel, for making the most of your canceled prom to give your residents such a special day!
